Fogg Bar Birras & Cheese
Without a doubt, one of the best bars in Madrid. No matter when you go, you will always be satisfied with the tapas and the service. Always a lot of people there to try the gazpacho, salad, clams or cakes that they give you with the caña.
Bar Pintan Tapas
A colorful bar in an area with good atmosphere that combines above average homemade tapas with a friendly service. Somewhat narrow, but still a bar worth visiting.
Bar Los Montes de Galicia
Although much remains to be discovered in this neighborhood, without a doubt, we can say that this is one of the best tapas bars in the area. A well-poured caña, accompanied by abundant, good quality tapas. We recommend it.
Cafetería Manolo
The Cafetería Manolo is perfect in every way. Good service, good beer, and good tapas. The same owner as Bar Herjomar next door. Very delicious raciones (larger portioned tapas that you pay for).
Bar Herjomar
A classic bar of the Guzmán el Bueno neighborhood. The main problem is the space. It is usually busy, but worth it. Good tapas.
Bar Casa Pepe
Also known as “Pepe the Filthy”. They don’t have too much variety, but they often let you chose your tapa and the quantity is always abundant. “Las alitas” (chicken wings) are their specialty.
Cervecería Rodamari
Tapas and more tapas with your caña in this bar that is noted for its good service. It is also roomy and clean. In short, totally recommended.
Bar Los Amigos
Similar to “Lus Enemigus” in front of it. Don’t expect elaborate or expensive tapas, but you’ll eat out with a caña and a half. That said, prepare yourself for lots of people.
Bar Docamar
Famous for their “patatas bravas” (potatoes with a spicy sauce). We liked it, but of course, don’t expect anything more than patatas bravas. This bar is huge, so much so that it comes across as not being very friendly. Even so, you have to go.
A’ Conchiña
Good tapas, even if they don’t know you, but they give you more if you are a regular. Spacious bar, with tables to sit at.
Bar Lus Enemigus
We left so full that we couldn’t visit “Los Amigos” across the street. One of the quintessential tapas bars of Madrid. Yes, a lot of people on the weekends.
Bar La Petisqueira
Bar with a young atmosphere in the Tribunal area, which is always full due to the quantity of food that they serve with the caña.
Bar El Tigre
There is little new to say about “El Tigre”. Almost everyone knows it for giving a ton of tapas with a 2.00€ caña. It’s not one of our favorites, because it’s almost impossible to get in, but we recognize that it’s one of the best known tapas bars in Madrid.
Bar Sierra
Ideal for an afternoon of cañas that may turn into a night of partying. The tapas are hearty and get even bigger the more beer you order. The only downside, as usual: a ton of people on weekends.
