De los pocos sitios por el centro de Madrid en los que puedes elegir la tapa. No son demasiado grandes, pero son de buena calidad.
Bar La Soberbia
Quality tapas in the center of Madrid. Also, a surprisingly cheap caña. Of course, it’s packed at peak hours. The raciones (larger portioned tapas that you pay for) are very delicious.
Taberna Pompeyana
A lovely pizzería in the center of Madrid that serves cañas for 1.50€ with average tapas. If you are lucky they’ll give you a slice of pizza as your tapa.
Bar Ovni
A decent quantity of tapas with your caña. Also, the caña is sizable and we had great service. Terrific atmosphere in general.
Bar El Rincón Abulense
We liked it a lot. In a good area with quality assorted tapas. Every Friday they serve migas (a sort of bread crumb dish) and paella (a traditional rice dish with vegetables and meat or fish). The beer is a bit expensive.
Bar El Ñeru
They have high quality food. The atmosphere is good, but too crowded at peak hours. They let you choose your tapa, but from few options.
