Bar Casa Pepe
Also known as “Pepe the Filthy”. They don’t have too much variety, but they often let you chose your tapa and the quantity is always abundant. “Las alitas” (chicken wings) are their specialty.
Bar Santos
Bar muy conocido entre la gente del barrio, los camareros son simpáticos. En la barra se pueden tomar cañas normales con tapa pero merece la pena tomarse un par de dobles y disfrutar de buen tapeo como el pincho de tortilla o canapés de jamón.
La Taberna Extremeña
Bar set in rural Extremadura. Impeccably well-prepared tapas, their sandwiches are not the typical piece of bread with meat; the bread is freshly made with oil. They also offer economical buckets of mini beer bottles with tapas.
Bar Congo
Directly in front of the La Vaguada Mall, we found that this bar boasts cleanliness but not much else. In our experience, the tapas were not high quality, although at other times we’ve seen a greater variety of tapas at the bar.
Bar Isama
This bar is hard to locate and there are few things around to do, but it’s worth the visit. With each caña they serve generous and surprisingly tasty tapas. A must if you’re in the area.
Bar Rey de Tapas
A great place, even better tapas and good beer. A bit expensive for a caña, but the tapa makes the price more than reasonable. Highly recommended.
Bar Torres
One of those lovely yet grimey bars, (hence known as “The Filthy Torres”). However, the chicken wings scattered on the floor are forgotten with the friendly service from the owner and above average tapas from the bar. Furthermore, it is one of the few places that serve a tapa with a cocktail.
Bar El Hayedo de José
Un bar agradable y espacioso, en el que las tapas por lo general están bien. Familia de “Casa Pepe”, por lo que probablemente no te falten unas buenas alitas grasientas.
