Bar El Rincón de Alipio
Surprising discovery on Calle Ponzano. They serve original tapas with the cañas. We don’t know if this will continue to hold true, but for now, it’s one of the best bars in the area.
Cervecería Ricks
It depends on the day, but if you’re lucky you’ll get good tapas with your caña. It’s a spacious and pleasant bar.
Bar Los Torreznos
They don’t stand out much for their tapas, but it’s a beautiful bar, the cañas are well poured, and the patatas bravas (potatoes with a spicy sauce) are among the best we’ve ever tried (but paid for).
Bar Don Óscar
Very original and delicious tapas. Still, it has some downsides including the limited space of the bar and the price of the cañas.
Cervecería El Doble
One of the best beers in Madrid. The raciones (larger sized tapas that you pay for) are not cheap, and the tapas are small, so just simply enjoy the perfect caña.
Bar Alipio Ramos
Located on a street that’s famous for its bars, it has undergone numerous renovations, but continues to keep its charm. The tapas are very average.
